Dear Phoenix Advantage Charter School Parents,
As of Sunday March 15, 2020, Governor Doug Ducey and State Superintendent Kathy Hoffman jointly announced the closure of all Arizona schools from Monday, March 16, 2020 through Friday, March 27, 2020.
We will continue to remain in close contact with state and public health officials to provide the most up-to-date information and ensure that the State of Arizona is doing everything we can to keep every member of our community health and safe. Also, as a precaution, it gives us more time to follow any recommendations that might come from Az Dept of Health, see azhealth.gov/COVID-19 for daily updates.
If your child has a heart disease, diabetes or lung disease (including asthma) you must be very cautious because they are at higher risk population. Please consult your doctor.
Also, we need to know if families have traveled anywhere during Spring Break including California, or other states or countries.
We will be communicating with you frequently using School Messenger, Instagram and Facebook with updates. Please follow the recommendations of the principal and teachers for studying through this closure and keep your children Reading, Writing and practicing Math. Websites offering free subscriptions: kidsactivitiesblog.com, GoNoodle, Create-abilities, Education.com
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and hope you understand our intent to keep your children safe and healthy.
