Everyone thinks “Not _MY_ Kid” but…

By | Coming Events | No Comments

Not MY Kid is a foundation that offers information and resources on drugs and alcohols to parents, as well as presentations to our 6th-8th grade students on many different topics. PACS and Not MY Kid are proud to offering another Parent Information Night on Thursday, April 25th from 5:45 to 6:45 PM. Please attend the English or Spanish meeting to learn about topics that affect our students! Each parent that attends will get a free Drug Test Kit just for showing up.

At the same time, in a different room, PACS will be showing a family-friendly movie so that parents do not have to worry about child care in order to come to the notMYkid program.

Make a Turkey of a Teacher…

By | Coming Events | No Comments
Buy feathers (2/$1) and put the name of your “favorite” teacher, staff member, or administrator on them. The person who has the most feathers gets to be a turkey for a day the day before Thanksgiving. The money raised will go toward helping some of our less fortunate families to have a hot & healthy Thanksgiving dinner. The more we make the more families we are able to help. Ms. Tejada talked about it with Mr. Morris’s homeroom today and some students were already plotting on which teacher/administrator they want to see dressed up like a turkey!
