For the 2012-2013 School Year

 

All students who turn five before September 1, 2012 will be accepted (until we run out of room).

 Some students who turn five between September 1 & December 31 may be accepted, depending on academic ability and social readiness for school.

 Academic ability and social readiness will be determined by testing done at one of our Kindergarten Roundup events on the evenings listed below. 

The events begin at 5:30 and are about an hour long.

           April 25, 2012    *        May 9, 2012    *        June 21, 2012

We are having an Open House at 5:30 pm on Thursday night, April 5th, for folks who are new to PACS to visit our school, meet our Registrar and Principal, and enroll their children. 

 AIMS testing begins on Monday, April 16th.  What should you do to make sure your children are ready?  Make sure they get a good night’s sleep, a healthy breakfast, and great big hug before coming to school.

Spring Break is next week, March 19th-23rd.  We hope everyone has a restful and rejuvenating break and a healthy start to Quarter 4 when they return on Monday, March 26th.   Mark your calendars now—the Thursday and Friday of that first week back (March 29th & 30th) are half days for Parent Teacher Conferences.  If you are not already a part of our PACS community, please join us for Open House on Wednesday, March 28th, to meet our Registrar and Principal.  See you soon!

Pre-enrollment is now open to all students residing in the respective school district. Phoenix Advantage Charter Schoolcan accommodate students entering into kindergarten to 8th grade. It is imperative that parents submit enrollment applications for each student planning to enroll, as early as possible.

Phoenix Advantage Charter School implements a thematic, interactive program that incorporates multiple learning styles. Mornings are dedicated to building solid skills in the core subject areas of reading, writing, math and science. While the afternoons are reserved for foreign language, music, physical education and a daily 90-minute block of Phoenix Advantage Charter School’s Paragon curriculum.
